This following document sets forth the Privacy Policy for the Crittah website, http://www.crittah.com and should be read in conjunction with our Terms of Service.

Crittah is committed to providing you with the best possible customer service experience. Crittah is bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Crh), which sets out a number of principles concerning the privacy of individuals.

Collection of your personal information

There are many aspects of the site which can be viewed without providing personal information, however, to participate in a 14-day trial or to Contact us you are required to submit personally identifiable information. This may include but is not limited to your name, company name or contact information (Telephone number, Email address) or provide sensitive information in the recovery of your lost password.

If are using our services we collected and store information about your customers for you to conduct your business using our software.

Sharing of your personal information

We may occasionally hire other companies to provide services on our behalf, including but not limited to sales prospecting, or direct marketing of Crittah services to you. Those companies will be permitted to obtain only the personal information they need to deliver the service. Crittah takes reasonable steps to ensure that these organisations are bound by confidentiality and privacy obligations in relation to the protection of your personal information.

Personal information collected and stored while using Crittah software is owned by you and will not be used by Crittah for marketing or disclosure to any other company unless required to support or develop the Crittah software for your business. 

Use of your personal information

For each visitor to reach the site, we expressively collect the following non-personally identifiable information, including but not limited to browser type, version and language, operating system, pages viewed while browsing the Site, page access times and referring website address. This collected information is used solely internally for the purpose of gauging visitor traffic, trends and delivering personalized content to you while you are at this Site.

From time to time, we may use customer information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If our information practices change at some time in the future we will also use your data for these new purposes and ensure all data collected from the time of the policy change forward will adhere to our updated practices.

Access to and correction of personal information

Access: You may request details of personal information that we hold about you, in certain circumstances set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).  An administrative fee may be payable for the provision of information.  We may refuse to provide you with information that we hold about you, in certain circumstances set out in the Privacy Act.

Correction: If you believe that any information we hold on you is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading, please contact us by email. We rely in part upon customers advising us when their personal information changes.  We will respond to any request within a reasonable time.  We will endeavor to promptly correct any information found to be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

Crittah reserves the right to make amendments to this Privacy Policy at any time. If you have objections to the Privacy Policy, you should not access or use the Site.

Accessing Your Personal Information

You have a right to access your personal information, subject to exceptions allowed by law. If you would like to do so, please let us know. You may be required to put your request in writing for security reasons. Crittah reserves the right to charge a fee for searching for, and providing access to, your information on a per request basis.

PRIVACY POLICY FOR MOBILE APPLICATIONS

This privacy policy governs your use of the software application Crittah (“Application”) for mobile devices that was created by Crittah Pty Ltd. The Application is a mobile workforce application used to dispatch jobs to workers in the field.  

 

What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?

User Provided Information 

The Application obtains the information you provide when you download and sign in to the application. 

The application will collect information that you enter for jobs to update your business on your progress. Only images that you choose to upload using the application will be stored on Crittah servers for your business to view as a part of the service.

When you use the Application, you generally provide (a) your user name and other registration information; (b) transaction-related information, (c) information you provide us when you contact us for help; (d) credit card information for payments and use of the Application, and; (e) information you enter into our system when using the Application, such as contact information and job information.

Automatically Collected Information 

In addition, the Application may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile devices unique device ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browsers you use, and information about the way you use the Application. 

Does the Application collect precise real time location information of the device?

This Application does collect precise information about the location of your mobile device for use by your company to locate where you are. Location information is only collected during the start time and end time of your shift. If your shift is not completed by selecting the “Stop Shift” button at the end of your shift, the application will continue to collect location information for 60 minutes after your shift end time.

Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?

Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to help us improve the Application and our service. We will share your information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.

We may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

  • as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
  • when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
  • with our trusted services providers who work on our behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.
  • if Crittah Pty Ltd is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our Web site of any change in ownership or uses of this information, as well as any choices you may have regarding this information.

 

What are my opt-out rights?

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information

We will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter as your business requires.

 

Security

We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. For example, we limit access to this information to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our Application. Please be aware that, although we endeavor provide reasonable security for information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.

 

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of any changes to our Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy here and informing you via email or text message. By using the Application, you are consenting to our processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us. "Processing,” means using cookies on a computer/hand held device or using or touching information in any way, including, but not limited to, collecting, storing, deleting, using, combining and disclosing information, all of which activities will take place in the United States. If you reside outside the United States your information will be transferred, processed and stored there under United States privacy standards.
